Jackson Phillips is Day Wave, and he is back with his second single from his upcoming album The Days We Had. “Something Here” might be our favorite release from Oakland’s own, Day Wave.

Day Wave Something HEre

Known for producing melancholy, ethereal, Indie-Pop tracks, Day Wave’s “Something Here” is surprisingly more upbeat than his past works. The dreamy effect is still present in this track, which is the sound we’ve come to know and love from Phillips. Day Wave has a big year ahead of him with the release of his upcoming album The Days We Had which will undoubtedly come with a long list of tour destinations. The Oakland artist is even set to headline an event in London at a venue called The Garage on May 23.
