“Gold” was just dropped from Liverpool four-piece Polar States. Vibrant electric guitar riffs, powerful vocals, and banging percussions make this an instant Indie Rock standout.
The track is part of an EP that Polar States is releasing in 3 weeks called Electric. The EP will feature five full tracks, four of which have not been released yet by the Indie quartet. “Gold” has definitely set a positive tone for the upcoming EP as well as the bands future as a whole.
In regards to lyrics in the new track, vocalist Paul Tong had the following to say for Dork in this recently posted article: “The ‘million in my heart line’ was basically a way of saying you should see wealth not in terms of money, but in terms of the people around you whom matter.”
Polar States has a busy Summer planned, touring through the UK at various music festivals following the release of Electric. To catch Polar States live, check out the image below for tour dates.
